*happy dance*

I had this big plan to take pictures on Thursday.  Pictures of boxes.  Pictures of delivery men.  Pictures of the set-up.  But it turns out I was so darn excited that I didn't do it!  I know, I'm ashamed of myself too.

But I did take a picture today.  Meet my new baby:

Isn't he purdy?  I'm thinking he needs a name.  I'm going leaning toward male names so I can say something like "I'm spending the night with Gary".  Anyone have a good name?

I quilted these two quilts for my mother.  They're the first two to roll off the machine.

Wow! What a great baby. He's fabulous. I think you should name it something exotic like Javier. LOL!

I think that is a great idea, then you can say he was so good last night we did that thing only we do 2 x!

Oh wow! I know why you were so excited.

I think he needs a very romantic name like Romeo or something.

This is the exact setup I want. I am green with envy over here but extremely happy for you.

Gary is nice and dependable, but I'd prefer to spend the night with Ronaldo.

So you have a new man in your life? How lucky are you! I think he looks like a Joe, or maybe Jeremy...it has to be a name that goes with Jandi. Handsome devil anyway...you are a lucky lady! I hope you two have a long and happy relationship!

Congrats on the new set up!! Is this your first frame set up? I'm guessing not because the quilting on the 2 for your mom looks great! Congrats!

this is beyond exciting!

Andrew? (since it's an Avante?) Or maybe something French sounding, like Pierre?

Congradulations!! Isn't it exciting???

I have a question for you....how do you get your quilts to stay on straight? Mine always seem to be right on in the middle but the ends are yuck! I bought one recently from someone else and I have had nothing but problems....but anyway any helpful tips you learn please share!! :D

You could call him Shawn Connery!

Congratulations! Now I can understand why you couldn't sleep. :-)) Let's see, I'd call him 'Honey' then you could say you were spending time with your honey.. unless that would make your DH unhappy. LOL

Ok--very jealous. If you run out of things to practice on I have one or two (or six) that would love to be sandwiched by Alejandro (my made up name for your machine--I figure it should sound swarthy and romantic).

I'm as green with envy as that beautiful quilt of your mom's! I wish, how I wish, I had a quilting machine like yours (and the room to set it up, too!).

As far as a nickname...I used letters in my machines for their names (Ellisimo is Miss Ellie; Espire is Prissy and Evolve serger is Evvie), so I would perhaps choose Van or even Tre'.

Can't wait to see what you choose!
