Yes, I do have the mind of a thirteen year old boy

Let me just preface this by telling you that I have the utmost respect for Eleanor Burns.  She is an amazingly talented woman.  This book of hers, however, leads me to believe one of two things.  One, that Eleanor has no friends in the editing department (or they are clueless).  Or two, that Eleanor, like me, likes to insert little jokes here and there for her own amusement.  I hope it is the latter.

Frankly, I think it's a bit of both. Not my favorite quilt book author, yet talented in her own right.

Haha, I totally thought the same when I read the title of the book too. I think it's a bit of the latter, she tossing off some strips in the photo - just like a stripper might.
I've made her Star Log Cabin (lap size) pattern for 4 wedding gifts and each couple tells me they love them. And she must be really fast or using all 24 hours in a day to make one of her quilts in a day...

If I were her, I'd've done something absurdly mock-risque to go with that title...like wear one of those tshirts with the bikini body on it and wrap myself in strips.

I thought the same thing you did though...I hope it's the latter as well.
