FNS Results
I didn't quite manage to work on the quilt I planned on last night. But that was fine. A few months ago I sewed together these blocks, arranged them, and planned on sewing the blocks into rows the next morning. Unfortunately, my little boy decided that it would be fun to throw the blocks all over the house the second he woke up. So I gathered them up and put them in my sewing room to arrange at a later date. I forgot all about them until I saw them sitting in my closet last night. I finished them up, sewed together my backing, and I've even started quilting them. One less UFO! Woot!
And this picture was a bit difficult to get to. I plugged my camera into my computer and discovered that there were over 200 pictures already on it. Hmmm....what did I forget to upload? I racked my brain until I started looking through them. A good 75% are of my little boy's feet and the other 25% are a great perspective of my house if you're 3 feet tall. I wonder who could have taken those?

I love quilts like this! Easy to put together and people love them. Just found your site and love it!
It's always nice to make progress on a UFO during FNSI, especially one that had been forgotten.
The quilt looks great! I love the story about the pictures... boys will be boys! :) Thanks for sharing! I'm your newest follower! Have a great weekend! :)
That is why we got our big guy his own camera for his 3rd Birthday! lol
I love the fabrics and the pattern in this quilt. So fun!
That is a huge accomplishment for one night's work! :o) I'm your newest follower from FNSI. Beautiful quilt! How old is this little picture taking boy? My son who just turned five last week has really been into taking photos with my cell phone lately too. Lots of feet pics over here also. :o) Nice to meet you.

A productive night, I'd say. I like your fabric choices in the quilt. Sounds like you'll have to hide your camera.
Very nice - Love the randomness and the story of this quilt. Sounds like a productive evening in your sewing place.
Enjoy
Lovely quilt and entertaining story! My cat usually disrupts my sewing time but hasn't learnt to use the camera yet!
Welcome back to blogger land! Thanks for stopping by and I love your quilt. It is Sweetwater, yes?!
I had a lot of those photos when my boys were little - this brought back lots of funny memories
Jandi, thanks for stopping by my blog. I posted pictures of my FNSI this a.m.. I am enjoying looking thru your blog. The quilt is looking good.
Love the sweetwater fabric. I was going to suggest labelling your blocks with sticky labels, but they'd be even more irresistable to a 3 year old. :)
Your quilt is coming right along! I loved your funny story about the camera! I guess he is really practicing up to be a photographer.
That's too cute re: all of the "mystery pictures" on your camera !!!! Love your quilt ! Good Job !
P.S. thanks so much for visiting my blog - come back often!

BTW, thank you very much for visiting my blog. :))
Children are so wonderful, at least yours is on a digital, when mine were younger we had a 35mm camera and you never knew what you were going to get when the pictures were developed. I have lots of pics like those!!
